The same audio principles of aluminum construction in a guitar apply to drums. Aluminum drums are louder, and easier to tune due to their consistent and dense “elemental” material.

Single points of contact lugs are used to minimize holes yielding a solid and clear tone. 45-degree bearing edges are cut before rolling providing a sharp and even edge against the drumhead. We have experimented with various thicknesses and materials finding 3/16” to be the optimal thickness for sustain and tone. All of our drums are built to order, and include all hardware and isolation mounts for toms. We can build any size but have recommendations based on our prototypes.
