The aluminum bass is a powerhouse of tone and sustain. Weighing in at close to 15 pounds it can also be called a back breaker. The weight is worth it. The extreme mass of the body and neck refuses to absorb the vibration of the strings as well as any extreme lows and highs yielding a monstrous tone. A second prototype is on the works with improved body shape for better balance and a two pick-up configuration.
